About Me

Who I Am.

I'm Troy Hudson, a Denver-based sales and solutions engineer with a mechanical engineering degree, a decade of technical and client-facing experience, and a genuine obsession with understanding how things work. My career has taken me from designing parts in SolidWorks to demoing enterprise software to Fortune 500 clients, and that range is exactly what makes me useful. I don't just understand the product. I understand the customer, the sales cycle, and what it takes to close.

I got into front-end development the same way I approach most things: I needed to understand it, so I learned it. Building this site isn't about becoming a developer. It's about being the kind of solutions engineer who can sit across from a technical team and actually speak their language.

I'm the bridge between complex technology and the humans who need to use it. I can walk into a room of engineers or a room of executives and make both conversations productive.

Family

Husband and dad. It keeps everything grounded and puts the work in perspective.

Golf

I take the game seriously, which means I'm either really happy or mildly frustrated depending on the back nine.

Soccer

Avid player and fan. You'll find me watching Bayern Munich and Manchester United whenever I can.

Reading

I read a lot. Science fiction, literary fiction, fantasy, memoir. Give me a good book and I'm happy.

Travel

No fixed agenda. Wherever work or life points us next. Colorado is home base and a hard place to complain about.
